About 1st RENOFARM Youth Poster Challenge
In June 2024, to promote the "One Health" concept among young people worldwide, the Editorial Office of the Animal Disease journal, in collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations, jointly organized the "RENOFARM Youth Poster Challenge." The competition organizing committee received a total of 106 entries from 22 countries. Following evaluation by an international panel of 11 expert judges, 90 posters that met the requirements in terms of theme, content, and format were shortlisted, and 11 of these were selected to advance to the final round.
On the afternoon of November 17, 2024, the 11 finalists presented their posters either online or in person. The judging resulted in 3 first-prize winners, 8 second-prize winners, and 14 third-prize winners. During the closing ceremony of the 2ed Animal Disease and One Health Forum, the Editor-in-Chief of Animal Disease presented certificates to the awardees. In December, all poster entries were exhibited at Huazhong Agricultural University, receiving widespread acclaim. The event was also covered in detail by the UN FAO news.
